FAQ

What are the features of this orbital forging machine?
AOur orbital forging equipment achieves more precise shapes and higher strength compared to conventional forging techniques. Its precision and durability are particularly valued in the manufacturing of automotive bearings. Furthermore, it minimizes material waste, contributing to reduced production costs.
What kinds of products use it?
AUsed as a crimping machine for HUB bearings; for recompressing sintered parts (valve seats); for automotive differential pinions.
Flange forming for welded joints; Flangeing of dowel pins (SKD material); Forming of aluminum wheels; Sprocket forming.
What are the main specifications of an orbital forging machine?
AMaximum pressing force: 50 tons - Orbital angle: 0 to 15 degrees (adjustable) - Orbital speed: 0 to 500 times/min (adjustable) - Maximum stroke: 150 mm. Working area: 650 mm x 1400 mm x 2800 mm. Specific specifications can be customized to meet customer needs.
What about noise and vibration?
ACompared to conventional presses, it does not generate shocking pressure, so it also produces less noise (approximately 85 dB) and vibration (0.8 mm/s).
The working environment can be improved. Hydraulic type is 85dB, ball screw type is 65dB.
The upper die is spinning, is that okay?
AOur unique anti-rotation mechanism prevents phase shifts, allowing us to manufacture parts with special shapes.
Special → Adding patterns to the top surface (face splines, sprockets, etc.)
What are the main differences between orbital forging and conventional forging methods?
AIn orbital forging, the upper die undergoes orbital motion, improving the fluidity of the material and increasing precision and strength.
What types of materials do you handle?
AIt is primarily applicable to metallic materials. It can handle a wide range of materials, from common metals such as steel and aluminum to special alloys.
Please contact us for specific material requirements.
It's more compact than a standard press, but how is its rigidity?
ABecause the main shaft's bearing structure is spherical, it can receive loads over a large area. Furthermore, the rigidity provided by the four columns not only improves accuracy but also minimizes distortion and deformation during operation, resulting in high repeatability.
Can the accuracy be verified?
AThe static accuracy of a spherical surface can be measured using a spherical jig.
What is the maximum tonnage you can manufacture?
AOur standard presses range from 10 to 50 tons, but we have experience with presses up to 800 tons.
What are the strengths of your equipment compared to the forging technologies of other companies?
AHigh precision, high strength, and long lifespan. Our equipment, by incorporating orbital motion, enables the creation of more complex and precise shapes, thereby improving product quality. Furthermore, it excels in reducing material waste and improving cost efficiency. This allows manufacturers to gain a competitive edge.
What do you think are your company's weaknesses?
AOne weakness is that we haven't yet fully expanded our market share in certain markets.
However, we see this as an opportunity and aim to further expand our market by collaborating with people from various industries at this exhibition.
Furthermore, we constantly incorporate customer feedback to improve our technology and services.
Is it possible to integrate it into an existing production line?
AYes, it is possible. We will review the status of your existing lines and propose the most suitable implementation method.
If necessary, we can also develop a phased implementation plan.
Do we not need an anchor?
ASince the vibration is 0.8 mm/s, which is below the ISO standard of 1.1 mm/s, it can be installed without anchors.
What safety features are included?
AIt comes standard with multiple safety features, including intrusion detection using photoelectric sensors, an emergency stop button, overload protection, and an interlock system.
How does the flexibility of customization compare to that of major manufacturers?
ALeveraging the agility unique to a mid-sized manufacturer, we provide highly customized solutions tailored to our customers' specific needs. Our strengths lie in our flexibility, which larger companies cannot match, and our close collaborative relationship with our customers.
Can I actually see this device in action?
AOf course. You can see a demonstration of the device here at our exhibition booth.
We can also conduct a demonstration using the actual equipment at your company at a later date, so please feel free to let us know if you'd like us to do so.
Are demonstrations or test productions possible? How should we proceed?
AYes, it is possible. We will proceed with the following steps.
1. Please provide product drawings and specifications for test production.
2. Our engineers will set the appropriate test conditions.
3. We will conduct actual production using the actual machine and analyze the results.
4. Along with the results report, we will send you the actual production samples.
5. If necessary, your company's representative can also be present during the test production.
How much does it cost to install the equipment?
AImplementation costs vary greatly depending on the scale of production and required specifications.
However, significant cost reductions are possible in the medium to long term due to high production efficiency and quality improvements.
